Leanne Wagner

Leanne completed a Science degree and post graduate qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics. This led to a keen interest in providing nutrition information to enable people to improve their own health. Further study improved counselling skills and as a dietitian for over 20 yrs, Leanne has established a private practice and developed long term consultancies with many private hospitals and nursing homes.

Leanne is now the Director of Brisbane Nutrition Services, employing Accredited Practicing Dietitians to provide quality dietetic advice.
Leanne has experience in many areas of dietetic practice including weight management, diabetes and food intolerance with particular interest in gastrointestinal disorders (coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome). Also specializing in both inpatient and outpatient management of eating disorders.
Leanne has a real interest in Aged Care and is passionate about ensuring good nutrition for older Australians.

Loretta Howard

Dietitians Association of Australia
Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician

Loretta is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Nutritionist and a member of the Dietitians' Association of Australia. She gained her qualifications from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics.  

Loretta works with individuals seeking advice for a variety of conditions including weight and chronic disease management, disordered eating and food intolerances. She works alongside several bariatric surgeons providing pre- and post-operative nutrition advice and also consults in private hospitals, aged care and community settings.

Loretta believes in taking a sensible and flexible approach in the process of tailoring nutritional advice to clients' individual needs and goals. She enjoys working closely with clients, employing key behavioural strategies to enable lifelong positive eating habits.

Aloysa Hourigan

B.Sc.; Grad Dip Nutr & Diet; Grad Dip Counselling

Aloysa is an accredited practising dietitian with much experience working both in private practice and community nutrition for Nutrition Australia. In addition to her dietetic qualifications, Aloysa has a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the Queensland University of Technology.

Having a counselling qualification alongside expertise in nutrition and food has led Aloysa to focus on the area of lifestyle change to improve health and well being and supporting individuals living with disordered eating. She has a great deal of compassion and experience providing support for long-term recovery.

Aloysa takes a health coaching approach with clients and takes care to ensure suggested dietary changes can be implemented in a sustainable and feasible way in their daily lives. Her special interest areas, in addition to eating disorders, include nutrition and mental health, gut health (including inflammatory bowel disease, GORD, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome), bariatric surgery, food allergies and intolerances as well as prevention and management of chronic disease. 

Aged Care nutrition is another area of interest for Aloysa, and she currently provides services in this area for Brisbane Nutrition Services, with the goal to ensure a positive dining experience and encouraging optimal nutritional intake for those living in residential aged care and in the community.

Aloysa has a great passion for food, improving people’s relationship with food, and for all things associated with the social aspects of eating and its impact on health and wellbeing.

Katie Slater

Katie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian Nutritionist and a member with Dietitian’s Australia who has experience in clinical, private and community settings.  Katie currently provides dietetic services to the Brisbane Private Hospital and New Farm Clinic offering one-on-one care and group nutrition presentations.

Katie’s passion for holistic health sees her focus expand to considering all aspects of her client’s diet and lifestyle, to maximise effectiveness. She believes that improving your health is extremely individual and works with clients to make realistic, practical and sustainable changes to their diet and lifestyle.

Rikki So

Bachelor Health Sci (Nutrition); Master Nutr & Diet

Rikky is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with experience in private practice, hospital and community health care settings. Rikky currently provides dietetic services with Brisbane Nutrition at Sunnybank Private Hospital and Brisbane Private Hospital. 

Apart from her work as a dietitian, Rikky is also a yoga teacher. With a special interest in mental health, Rikky’s practice focuses on a holistic approach, combining mindfulness and lifestyle strategies with clinical nutrition. Rikky’s goal is to help clients achieve their health goals and feel better in their mind and body.

Fiona MacDonald

Fiona is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician. With experience in hospital, community and private practice settings, Fiona manages a wide range of conditions. 

Fiona’s passion for nutrition and health stems from her personal experience with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), food allergies and intolerances. She understands how life-changing it can be to identify the foods that settle the gut, nourish the body and satisfy the taste buds. She gets immense enjoyment from helping others use food to improve their lives, whether it be improving energy levels, alleviating stress around body concerns, or decreasing the frustration of living with a chronic disease. As a busy mum and business owner, Fiona also loves to share her secrets on feeding a family quickly and simply without all the fuss.

Driven by a weight-neutral philosophy, Fiona works with clients to improve their confidence in choosing foods that support their physical and emotional wellbeing. She offers compassionate, non-judgemental support for each client, working through individual challenges and barriers to develop effective strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
